When Ron DeSantis told students to take off their masks, you knew things were gonna get weird. We live in a silly society, and two years after fifteen days to flatten the curve... We're still doing this. Please, take a trip with me before we get to this maskless mother. No, you don't need to wear a mask.

We start with Ron DeSantis showing why he is America's Governor.

It's exhausting to recap all the leftist hypocrisy over when "the science" tells them to wear masks. Liberals have invested two years of their sanity into signaling their shiniest virtue. But contrast DeSantis with these two Bidens only a day apart.

The internet noticed one student behind DeSantis who was more than happy to comply.

That was until his mother found out. She ran to the media to express her outrage. How dare Ron DeSantis tell her son he didn't have to wear a mask?!? I won't use their names because the poor kid is going to be clowned enough in school as it is.

"I told him to wear that mask, and Governor DeSantis... He pretty much said 'Take off your mask. It's stupid.' 'Your parents don't matter.'"

DeSantis told the kids they could wear the mask if it was what they wanted. He never said parents don't matter. He's the governor of Florida, not a union-controlled school board. Also, wearing a mask IS stupid. DeSantis wasn't wrong there. I point to exhibit Q. This mother was so angry, so upset, so frothing at the mouth, she didn't even realize she wasn't wearing a mask herself.

What's remarkable is that the CDC and the government guys had to change "the science" because of how bad polling was for Democrats going into the midterms. Yet, all it took was eighteen seconds of Ron DeSantis for liberals and the media (but I repeat myself) to knee-jerk respond their way back to mask zealotry. We're at a point where DeSantis could say we should follow the CDC's new mask guidelines, liberals and the media would accuse the CDC of being responsible for January 6. And that it's now "anti-science" to follow "the science." God bless American politics.
