It's remarkable that in this, the two-thousand and twenty-sixth year of our Lord and Savior Donald J. Trump, people STILL don't understand how the internet works. And that if you celebrate someone dying or wishing that they were unalived, other people use their internets to express disapproval with it. Take United Healthcare's social media manager, known on these streets as "Aliiiiikingggg," who is super upset that the WHCD shooter missed his assassination attempt on the President. Apropos of nothing, what's with white women adding extra letterrrrrrrs to everything?
Also, I should amend that to say "Aliiiiikingggg" is now the former social media manager at United Healthcare.
UPDATE: Fired https://t.co/ftkYA4UvqP

And I know what you're thinking. Yes, cancel culture is bad.

We on the right should maintain our integrity in defending the sanctity of free speech and the First Amendment. Be more like Jimmy Kimmel defending his free speech against half of America who disagrees with him and less like Jimmy Kimmel threatening to sue Aaron Rodgers over Rodgers being allowed to exercise HIS free speech.
Like we were taught as children, be the bigger person, two wrongs don't make a right, I'm rubber, you're glue...

Getting someone fired over a TikTok isn't a choice I would make. Other people made a different choice. These are the new rules the left wanted. Some of us tried to warn them that if they wanted these new rules, they're weren't going to like it when we played by them. This is the world now. I'm just here to report on a thing that happened.
And also to ask a question. It IS 2026. How do people still not understand how social media and the internets work?
Set aside that I'm an old from GenX, the last generation that didn't suck. I don't understand the thought process behind being, while in your car, so overwhelmed with your disappointment that someone wasn't assassinated, you need to film a video about it.
But when you post such a video... WE CAN ALL SEE IT. That's how social media works. It's the social part. You say something that you put out on the internets. The rest of the internets can see it and express their opinions on it.
Maybe "Aliiiiikingggg" didn't realize that there are people living in America who were happy that the President of the United States wasn't assassinated. She'll have a lot of extra free time now to ponder that and other life choices.
