This is the brilliance of the media and content these days. John Cleese spoke out, once, via tweet about wokeness. So now every time he is interviewed by anyone ever, they are going to ask him about it. As someone who lists Monty Python's the Meaning of Life and A Fish Called Wanda as two of his most favorite movies, I will never grow tired of Cleese blasting what a fellow countryman once referred to as perma-offended woke twats (see THESE THREE TWEETS SHOW HOW LITTLE PATIENCE JOHN CLEESE HAS FOR CANCEL CULTURE and JOHN CLEESE JUST ASKED A QUESTION THAT'S GOING TO CAUSE LIBERAL HEADS TO EXPLODE). Honestly, he could call me up every day just to insult me and my mother. His voice alone makes me laugh.

Reporters want to ask about wokeness, and John Cleese is simply too old to give a f***.

The Oscars thing is particularly ridiculous. Set aside the fact that most movies nominated are barely watchable by a majority of Americans in the first place. You really have to appreciate the fact that the progressive entertainment industry, which is always lecturing the rest of us on all the various -isms and about not being any of the various -ists, needs to be bullied into being "tolerant" itself. Even if it is all just faux tolerance. Now making movies won't be about intriguing stories and compelling characters. It will be about the head count.

Say what you want. Take creative chances. Don't be a wanker toward people. It really should be as simple as John Cleese lays out.
