Navarro is happy that Trump and his cabinet experienced the fear of a shooter coming for them because "now they know" what students go through in active shooter situations and "maybe now that they have felt the fear themselves they will do something on gun reform":

According to Ana Navarro, it is good that President Donald Trump and his cabinet had to experience what they did on Saturday, as now they supposedly know what it means to be a student in America. And to claim there is no low the ladies on “The View” will stoop is an understatement.
You have to be objectively stupid to blame guns for what happened on Saturday. This is why it is not a stretch to call these ladies foolish. In fact, that would be putting it lightly.
According to the manifesto, the shooter planned to target Trump officials “from highest-ranking to lowest." In other words, it was politically motivated. He justified his evil plot by claiming he was “no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.” So, in other words, he was radicalized by the left, so much so that he was willing to kill to affirm that cause. To call this evil would be an understatement. Nonetheless, Navarro has chosen to ignore all these crucial points and decided to make this about gun control.
According to Navarro, “Now they know what it's like to have to jump under a table the way that school children jump under a desk. And we are a country that is vulnerable to this. We have now seen shootings in malls, in churches, in temples, in Walmarts.”
Two things are possible here: Either she said what she said because she knows it is rhetoric like hers that contributes to the radicalization of these psychos, or she truly is that stupid. Draw your own conclusions, but yes -- both can be true at the same time.
Navarro refuses to acknowledge that political violence largely comes from the left. Political terrorism is largely a leftist phenomenon in modern-day. And the fact that she is now pretending that this is because Republicans refuse to pass gun control tells you all you need to know.
