Sir Robin The Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot's stance is surprising. Especially when you consider old school Python jokes about trannies and John Cleese's stance on political correctness. I'd have figured Eric's views would be more moderate. I wasn't expecting the bloody Spanish Inquisition...

Eric Idle appears to have silly-walked himself to the point of retardation. "Monty Python" pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable. Often butting heads with authority figures over their brand of humor. Fast forward a few decades and our boy Eric is preaching the opposite, screaming "BURN THE WITCH!" It appears his comedic brain has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker.

It's been brought up over and over again that manmade climate change is far from proven science. In fact, some scientists argue the entire concept is a bunch of baloney Spam. So, until some new finding springs upon us to prove we're grilling the world, there's plenty of room for debate. Good luck explaining that to leftists. They would rather lock up people who disagree with them. Or maul them like the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog.

The big lesson in all of this is even people you would otherwise consider geniuses say silly things. Especially when said people align themselves left. Leftists have devolved into anti-discourse loonies who want to force dissenters into submission instead of dealing in facts. A hard exercise, considering they have no facts on their side.
