Owner Closes Restaurant After It Gets Ransacked, Has Emotional Response to Liberal Politicians Responsible

The lawless hellscapes run by leftist politicians have become unlivable. Homeless people and their tents litter public areas, radicals run the streets beating those with which they disagree, and police departments are all but surrendering to the madness. Many of these things seem far away, disconnected from our own lives, but what does it look like when the problem of liberal governance hits home?

One small business owner in Portland has taken to TikTok to show everyone what’s going on in his hometown. After his restaurant was ransacked and various pieces of equipment stolen, he lays it all out there in an emotional plea to people to understand the need to change.

“I honestly used to love this town, but the rise in crime and homelessness, drug abuse, depression. It isn’t despite all these progressive policies: It’s a direct result of these ‘progressive’ policies.”

“Don’t let anybody cloak ‘progressive’ policies under the term of ‘compassion. It’s anything but.”

Everything he’s said is the truth. This rampant crime is not something relegated to Portland, either. The message is one every Democrat needs to hear and take to heart. “Progressive” (read: regressive) policies have destroyed some of our greatest cities: LA, New York, Seattle; and they have destroyed innumerable lives, lives of regular day men, women, and children.

Our calm voice of wisdom here extends an invitation to anyone, including the sitting president, to meet with him to debate the policies that have destroyed his hometown and his business. My hat goes off to him. We hope more people begin to speak up.

If this man, whatever his name is, is closing his restaurant, might I suggest he go into politics. I don’t know everything this man believes, but he seems to have his head screwed on relatively straight. Certainly, he would do better by his city than those who are currently running the show.
