Communists often resort to indoctrination tactics in schools because when left up to the marketplace of ideas, their ideology cannot hold up to scrutiny. And when a movement relies on children to further fuel their cause, which, in this case, is extremely lacking, that tells you how immoral it truly is. And when you combine that with the fact that the left has taken over this country's education system, you get the Chicago Teachers Union.

While you might expect Chicago teachers to be focused more on academic excellence rather than “civic action,” that could not be further from the truth. For a school district that yields abysmal results, at best, this should not even cross "educators' minds.” But that is not how leftist reality plays out.

The Chicago Teachers Union has decided that May 1 will now become a "Day of Civic Action and a Defense of Public Education." This is in response to school choice vouchers, which the union claims are a way to "use federal power to intimidate school districts into compliance with a white supremacist and anti-democratic agenda."

According to The Post Millennial:

The lengthy resolution takes aim at private schools, school choice voucher systems, the Supreme Court decision allowing parents to opt their kids out of LGBTQ+ curriculum, and the federal pushback against critical race theory, DEI and affirmative action. The Chicago Teachers Union claims that school choice vouchers, allowing parents to take their tax dollars and use them to pay for private school is a tactic to "use federal power to intimidate school districts into compliance with a white supremacist and anti-democratic agenda."

Clearly, there are many things wrong with this.

Firstly, it is disgusting how "educators" believe they are the authority figures on LGBT curriculum. Not only is this grossly inappropriate, but this was also never the intent of the public school system in the first place. While you might expect things like math and English to be prioritized, that is not the case, especially considering that math is now racist, but I digress. Nonetheless, the fact that the district is more concerned with LGBT nonsense, rather than core subjects, proves just how unfit these people are to educate the masses.

Secondly, there is zero evidence that DEI and affirmative action have made this country better off. In fact, there is a whole lot of proof that proves how awful this is. This isn't just about giving a freebie to someone who does not deserve it; it is about promoting people based on skin color, while slapping an entire race in the face, for reasons that will never be logical or moral.

Thirdly, the fact that the school continues to fail students, yet demands all tax dollars be prioritized for them, despite delivering nothing beneficial, tells you all you need to know. Additionally, allowing the voucher to follow the child does not remove funding from the district, so none of their arguments hold up when you analyze them in the slightest bit. These people don't want the best for students because if they did, they would admit that the last place they should spend their weekdays is in a public school classroom in Chicago. And the CTU president knows this, as proven by the fact that she was caught sending her son to private school.

Lastly, the fact that they claim this has ANYTHING to do with White Supremacy invalidates their point completely. The only people making this about race are the ones demanding access to your kids. The only ones talking about skin color are the Chicago teachers' union. And for them to project their ideology onto you is deeply deranged. They fool no one with their White Supremacist lies, but considering they provide failing results, it is not like we are dealing with smart people anyway.

The Chicago Teachers Union claims that all of this is an "attack on public education" and breaks "democratic norms" that threaten "the integrity of upcoming elections." They claim that there is an attack on black and brown communities and that voting rights are being trampled on—primarily because of school choice vouchers, which came about because public schools were not doing the job they had been built to do.

Okay. To sum it all up, these people just make things up and hope that by calling the other side racist, they will get what they want. Yeah — they are fooling no one — and to call this pathetic would be an understatement.

If there is an attack on public education, why is there not an attack on it? That is something these buffoons will never be able to convey, as they promote leftist ideology over doing their actual job.

Meanwhile, the school vouchers program that was in effect in Illinois, the Illinois Invest in Kids Act, ended in January 2025. Illinois may opt into a federal school voucher program. This program would allow donors to "give up to $1,700 to scholarship-awarding organizations for K-12 schools and get an equivalent amount back in federal tax credits," states local PBS affiliate WTTW.

The fact that this is controversial for these people tells you all you need to know. They don't want the best for students; they want to make sure they get all the funding, despite not deserving it. And the ability for these people to be rewarded, despite continuing to fail the younger generation, is a scandal in itself.
