Pete Buttigieg held a town hall on Saturday, and to call the thing a joke would be an understatement.

Speaking at the event in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a voter expressed naive concern that her fellow trans allies will be sent to concentration camps, as she claims they are being forcibly kept from fleeing, considering they are no longer allowed to get passports. The problem with this claim is that it is, in fact, a lie. It is unclear if she truly believes this nonsense or was pretending to be foolish for the cameras, so draw your own conclusions. We can conclude, however, that Buttigieg is a pathetic buffoon who spreads lies in the hope of instilling fear in the American people to promote an anti-American, leftist agenda.

According to the naive audience member, she wakes up every morning “waiting for the day that they start banging on doors and taking our trans and our gay friends to concentration camps.” This is not normal. Most sane people don't wake up every morning wondering if their friends will be taken against their will in the freest country in the entire world. Not only is there no evidence to support such nonsense, but it is rooted entirely in her imagination. In reality, no one is going after anyone, and the sooner she realizes that, the better off she will sleep at night. Unfortunately, though, for her mental sake, it appears she won't be coming to that realization for a very long time.

Even more pathetic, though, was the response Buttigieg gave. According to him, "he worries about what is happening," and that the "official policy of this country" caused a lot of people to lose their jobs, and that was solely because of the ideology of the Trump Administration. The alleged solution to this is that we need a president who does not discriminate based on gender confusion.

Now, call me crazy, but last time I checked our founding documents, it was never the intent of the federal government to affirm gender confusion. It is unclear where he got that idea from, but again, it is not rooted in reality.

People like Buttigieg not only provide zero solutions to make this country better off, but actively spread lies to promote the idea that trans people are under attack, when that could not be further from the truth. And to call that a slap in the face to all the sane Americans in this great nation would be an understatement.
