If you think you have heard this story before, you would be correct. While the names and victims involved might be different from the ones you read about last week, the people responsible for this are the same.

Because the left refuses to admit some humans are, in fact, illegal, Americans continue to suffer every day. Each week, an innocent person becomes the victim of a crime -- one that is 100% preventable -- due to leftist sanctuary policies.

A criminal alien has been arrested in Northern Virginia after he tried to rape a woman waiting for her rideshare. ICE is now asking Gov. Abigail Spanberger and local officials not to release this psycho back into the community.

ICE lodged an immigration detainer with the Arlington County jail in Virginia against Luzvin Garcia Moran, a 28-year-old criminal illegal alien from Guatemala who was arrested by the Arlington County Police Department for attempted sexual assault on a woman during the morning of April 12. He faces charges of abduction of a person with intent to defile, sodomy by force or victim helplessness, and assault.

The fact that ICE must make this request proves how little the left intends to work with federal law enforcement, despite the risk it poses to Americans. Attitudes like this are precisely why stories like this exist.

The police department’s preliminary investigation indicates the victim was waiting for a rideshare when Garcia approached and began speaking to her. When she walked away, Garcia followed her and made sexually explicit comments, grabbed her, pushed her into a wall and physically assaulted her. The victim was able to get away from him, but he approached and assaulted her again.

Fortunately, two people rushed to her side to help. Unfortunately, she will now have to suffer through the psychological trauma from this very preventable crime as a result of a failing system.

Garcia has an extensive rap sheet spanning from 2020 to 2026, which includes charges for nine counts of being intoxicated in public, assault and battery, disorderly conduct, attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer and several probation violations.

The fact that someone with this sort of rap sheet is allowed to set foot in this country tells you all you need to know. Leftist sanctuary policies shield criminals like this, while jeopardizing the safety of the American public. Worse of all, the left continues to fight for open borders, despite the harm it causes to vulnerable Americans.

When will elected officials realize their duty is to American citizens, not criminal foreign nationals? Why does the left try so hard to defend scum like this, while many of them try to assault this nation's women? Why do naive voters believe that just because someone comes from a crappy country, they can do no harm?

You cannot advocate in favor of open borders without condoning crimes like this, whether the left realizes that or not. And the fact that this is the same side that claims to be all in for women's rights, while their policies destroy any sense of public safety, tells you everything you need to know. The left does not work to make this country a better place; they are actively trying to destroy it. Stories like this should end any debate left for open borders, but the left still pretends as if this is compassion. It truly is deeply deranged.

It truly is unfathomable how the left continues to shield scum like this from accountability, given how much it jeopardizes public safety. To call this tyrannical overreach would be an understatement.
