The left is claiming that obtaining your birth certificate is somehow akin to trumping the voting rights of some married women. The problem with this claim is that with just several clicks of the mouse, one can obtain their birth certificate in a matter of weeks. They never have to leave the comfort of their home. This is why it is a pathetic accusation for the left to claim proving you are who you say you are is somehow a threat to Democracy.
Ro Khanna gets absolutely RIPPED for opposing the SAVE America Act by trying to suggest it's too difficult for women to prove they are citizens.

Rep. Ro Khanna tried to make a claim. It appears he didn't try hard enough. He suggests women are too incompetent to obtain a birth certificate. This is why Maria Bartiromo said what needed to be said.
According to Bartiromo, she wanted a copy of her birth certificate. She went online, clicked a few links, and typed in some information. After a week passed, that document magically arrived in the mail. This is hardly a “threat to Democracy.”
"In the cases of some people who are married, who have changed their name, you want them to go and have to prove their birth certificate to a registrar....?" Khanna said. It is unclear what message he was trying to convey because, based on what he said, you would assume he is a misogynistic individual who believes, by definition, women are incompetent and stupid. That would be bizarre coming from a man who is part of a party that claims to be all in it for women’s rights.
Additionally, he implies voter security somehow trumps the rights of women. Still, he fails to see that one illegitimate vote is a threat to the legitimate votes for the women of this great nation. This is not rocket science.
The left has got to do a lot better if they are to convince the majority of Americans, who largely support voter ID, that they don't deserve secure elections. Claiming people are too lazy or too stupid to go online and get a copy of their birth certificate is a pathetic excuse, and to call it a “threat to Democracy” would be an understatement.
