Another Hospital Ends Child Sex Changes After It Settled With The DOJ

While it is great that Connecticut Children's Medical Center will stop providing trans surgeries and medical procedures to children, the fact that it had to be done in the first place is a problem. That, combined with the fact that they did it because the DOJ made them, puts this hospital on the “wrong side of history.”
Huge win!
Connecticut Children’s finally ends the surgeries, puberty blockers, and hormones on kids — AND puts $500K toward helping the ones already harmed.
Third hospital to fold under the DOJ/HHS pressure.
Protect the kids. No more irreversible experiments.
LFG 🔥…

Connecticut Children's Medical Center is the latest major pediatric hospital to halt these procedures on kids. Again, they did not end these Frankenstein “treatments” because they felt it needed to be done; they did it because of a legal dispute. That tells you all you need to know.

According to The Post Millennial:
The DOJ announced Tuesday that Connecticut Children’s agreed to stop performing what the department described as "sex-rejecting procedures" on patients under 18, including the use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries. Under the agreement, the hospital will also pay a financial penalty and commit an additional $500,000 toward medical care for individuals experiencing complications or other consequences related to prior gender altering procedures.
While it is great that the hospital has agreed to provide care for the children they harmed, that does not negate the fact that so many kids have been permanently hurt, and that is not something a lawsuit can ever fix. And because many of these kids will later regret these decisions that adults and medical professionals made for them, it makes it that much worse. To call this unacceptable does not even begin to describe it.
According to the DOJ, Connecticut Children’s received cooperation credit during the investigation after working proactively with federal officials. The department also cited the hospital's commitment to funding medical care for patients seeking treatment related to previous procedures.
To claim that those involved in harming these patients will one day be part of the worst medical scandal ever known to humanity would be an understatement.
