WaPo's "fact-checker" gets fact-checked hard by Twitter, then gets fact-checked AGAIN when he whines about it
Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler got Community Notes'd into oblivion not once but TWICE over the weekend. And it's quite a sight to behold.
Last week, it is believed a memo went out to journalismers to defend the Soros-backed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg by claiming he's not actually Soros-backed. Long story short: Soros has never been in Bragg's kitchen, something something, you're an antisemitic trope.
That's the rule? You're not "backed" by a donor if you didn't go whitewater rafting with him? https://t.co/DBWTjnsWE7

I get what's going on here but "George Soros has spent millions of dollars over the years to help elect reform DAs" is just a fact. It got him good press before Republicans re-upped their attacks on this. https://t.co/EmDsvuMe6Y

Another example of the left and the media (but I repeat myself) attempting to redefine definitions. This was never the standard when the left and the media (again, I repeat) blasted "Koch-funded" Republicans. Not unlike how the left and the media were never antisemitic for criticizing the donations of Jewish REPUBLICAN donor Sheldon Adelson.
WaPo's "fact" checker got his orders with the claim Bragg isn't Soros funded. Community Notes to the rescue: "Soros donated $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, the largest individual donation it received in the 2022 election cycle, days after it endorsed Bragg for district attorney and pledged more than $1 million in spending to support his candidacy."
Then when Kessler ATTACKED "trolls" who hit him with a Community Notes, by claiming the Notes said something it didn't, the Notes struck back: "The original Community Note says that the Color of Change PAC *pledged* $1 million. Soros donated $1 million to the PAC days after it endorsed Bragg and pledged more than $1 million in spending to support his candidacy. The PAC ultimately spent $420,000."
Once again at the Washington Post, democracy derps in the derpness.
Everyone who participates in the Community Notes program: we all worked together, with justice, to make this double note happen. I'm proud of you all. pic.twitter.com/m31SaCfchY

I give journalismers credit. It takes an impressive lack of dignity and self-respect to shill for the left like this. All while insulting your reader's intelligence by claiming you are unbiased and non-partisan. I could never do it. Journalismers at WaPo and NBC News manage to pull it off with great aplomb.
