It's tempting to say "stop me if you've heard this one before," but a) I know you have multiple times this year, and b) the story is as gross as the others. A woman is dead because of a man who took advantage of the People Who Controlled Joe Biden Adminstration importing illegals. Only in a twist, some are trying to blame Trump and are invoking Laken Riley to do so.

Venezuelan national Jose Medina-Medina is accused of murdering Sheridan Gorman, an eighteen-year-old college student from Westchester County, after confronting her in a Chicago park. The masked Jose shot her as she was attempting to flee. DHS confirmed that Medina-Medina was caught AND released at the border by the People Who Controlled Joe Biden Administration in May of 2023. A month later, he was arrested for shoplifting and, of course, released.

Chicago, besides being the crime capital of America AND a sanctuary city, had Mayor Brandon Johnson sign an executive order that demanded the city not work with immigration officials to deport illegal aliens. And Medina-Medina should have been removed from this country already if *checks notes* Donald Trump followed the Laken Riley Act?! Huh?

I have to imagine this is the left's new line of attack in order to shift blame from the Democrat Party refusing to enforce any immigration laws, in fear of having all the undocumented Democrats they imported be deported. The Laken Riley Act, named after a jogger murdered in cold blood by another illegal, made it so that Medina-Medina should have been deported already. And the left is claiming he would have been too, if Trump weren't busy randomly deporting any brown person he saw in the streets.

It's a ridiculous argument from a party that refuses to enforce ANY immigration law, as illustrated by reporter Bill Melugin.

As of this writing, Medina-Medina hasn't been released yet. Emphasis on yet. Though DHS did put in the request to let them know before Chicago releases him, so that they can do something before he murders another innocent woman.

We'll see if Chicago honors the request, but I have the same doubts they will that you do.

Side Note: Democrats are still holding Homeland Security funding hostage unless the Senate agrees to Defund ICE. Or, if nothing else, at least make it easier for their supporters to dox ICE agents while also making it more difficult for them to deport anyone.
