A man has been arrested after he is alleged to have carried a woman inside the subway against her will, and his excuse is worse than you could have ever imagined.

According to the suspect, 23-year-old Arif Nour, he was only pretending to kidnap her. That is the excuse he gave officers. Subsequently, we can conclude he probably would have done himself more favors had he exercised his right to remain silent.
According to the New York Post:
The weirdo who allegedly carried a woman into a Queens subway station in a rush-hour horror was arrested – as prosecutors revealed he told the victim he was “pretending to kidnap” her.
Arif Nour, 23, surrendered Monday at the NYPD’s 108th Precinct – two weeks after he allegedly cornered a stranger and hauled her across a commercial Sunnyside Gardens street and into an elevated subway station, authorities said.
Nour, of Brooklyn, was charged with attempted kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment, prosecutors said.
While you are innocent until proven guilty in this country, the events don't seem to line up in his favor.
The victim left the station and crossed the street – to the corner of 47th Street and Queens Boulevard – to get away from her alleged stalker, the court doc said.
But as the victim continued walking along Queens Boulevard, toward 48th Street, Nour approached her again, grabbed her hand and brought her back to the station, prosecutors said.
Nour then picked up the woman, carried her up the stairs, swiped them both through the turnstile and hauled her up another flight to the subway platform, according to the complaint.
That does not seem like a joke to me, but I am not on the jury, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, whether or not this weirdo was joking, which I don't for a second believe, as the evidence is not in his favor, it is still alleged that he imprisoned someone against their will, and that is not something the justice system looks at lightly.
