Communists are taking over New York City. Most people around the country are not stupid enough to fall for the term “Democratic Socialist.” And while I am not here to call New York City voters dumb, I will conclude that many of the people they elected Tuesday night were not “smart.” Nonetheless, Joy Behar is out there defending these not-so-smart candidates by claiming all they wanted was to ensure the police and fire departments are still a thing.

According to The View’s Behar, “New Yorkers aren't afraid of the term democratic socialism. If I fall, I want an ambulance. If my house is on fire, bring your hose,” she claimed, implying that the basic functions of city government, such as public safety, are somehow akin to what you see in a communist nation.

She then implied that most Americans are scared of the term, as everyone else is naive.

But Social Security is a form of democratic socialism. Unemployment insurance is. The people who pick up your garbage, the people who take the fire out of your house. All of these are democratic socialism.

The funny thing about these claims is that the Democratic Socialists of America backs the defund the police movement.

Someone should really inform Behar that a country can have social services without turning into Venezuela. One of these things is not like the other. My goodness. These people are painfully stupid.

LOL. Yeah -- that tells you all you need to know. And to call these candidates “left-wing extremists” would be an understatement.
