Democrat official lashes out at meeting, claims ICE is running concentration camps and says worse about Trump

Any elected official who fights to shield information from DHS is a traitor to this great nation. Bangor Councilor Joseph Leonard is one of those people.
Leonard’s proposal to restrict city staff from sharing information with federal officers for federal immigration enforcement was struck down because sanity still prevails on the Bangor City Council. This is because his proposal was rooted in falsehoods.

Firstly, Leonard lied and implied that there is a crime epidemic of ICE officers impregnating minors in detention centers. The problem with this claim is, again, there is no evidence. He further tried to justify his stance by slandering the president with overplayed lies that no one is buying anymore.
According to Spectrum News:
Among other provisions, Councilor Joseph Leonard’s proposal would have limited information employees could share with federal agents and prohibit employees from detaining people for the purpose of immigration enforcement.
During the heated debate, some members of the public accused Leonard of putting his political beliefs regarding ICE ahead of the city’s welfare.
“This is a criminal organization, but I don’t expect our rapist, pedofile fascist president to take any consideration of this whatsoever,” Leonard said in explaining his views on the proposal.
Do people like Leonard just make up these lies, or are they really this stupid that they believe? Because if they truly are that naive, it should be illegal to be this stupid and still serve in elected office. And the fact that people actually elected this buffoon defies reason.
It really is not completed. We have federal laws in this country. Similar to how this man likely locks his door at night, those laws are meant to keep the bad guys out. We do this to protect the people of this great nation. When you break the law, those actions have consequences. This is far from some moral defect that needs to be addressed. What don’t these people understand?
No one knew it was possible to be this dumb. No one.
