I'm paraphrasing something I read someone else say on X-Twitter this morning, but either Spencer Pratt is a generational talent, or his opponents suck hard at this. Maybe it's a little from column A and a little from column B. But in last night's LA mayoral debate between an establishment politician and a socialist carpetbagger, a guy whose last f*ck to give burned down over a year ago stands out.

Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) are really going to have to go heavy on calling him a racist, sexist, islamophobe. Or a sexist, islamophobic racist. Or a *does math* islamophobic, sexist, racist. Because they can't hit him on policy or him calling out their record of failure.

The clip going viral is the one above of Nithya Raman calling him the market-tested insult "MAGA Republican." The only way to respond to that is with a derp face, which he did.

But the substantive answers were where he excelled. Like when he looked at what Karen Bass (the current mayor whose incompetence helped the Palisades burn down) and Raman (the homeless advocate in a city where homelessness keeps skyrocketing) have done with the power voters have already given them.

Or this answer, where he was accused of teaming up WITH Bass to take out Raman. Turns out, when given the choice between running against an entrenched mayor with public employee unions running her campaign, or the incompetent councilwoman without them, it's a no-brainer.

And look, I get it. Blah blah blah, no one cares about liberal Los Angeles, yackity schmackity. I'm not saying you have to distract from the SAVE Act or mass deportations. But we keep pointing out how our cities are falling apart after decades of one-party progressive rule. And how the right never even tries.

Spencer Pratt is trying, and while not on "the right," is running the exact campaign against democrats we always say we want to see someone run in deep blue areas. The least we can do is help amplify the guy.
