Everyone who lived through the Biden Administration knows that the Inflation Reduction Act did not reduce inflation as much as it created a record increase. This is because, while they claimed this legislation was intended to slow price increases, it was climate change legislation. And despite all the evidence that proves this act created inflation and did nothing for the climate, Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) is still claiming otherwise, while blaming Trump for things that are not real.

According to Chu, the “Inflation Reduction Act would have reduced climate change by 40% by reducing carbon emissions by 40%, and [she] was very proud of this. [She] thought we were going to make tremendous progress towards renewables, but immediately, as Trump took office, he started dismantling the Inflation Reduction Act and actually increased ways that fossil fuels could dominate energy in this country.”

Just one year after its passing, inflation rose by more than 15%, the cost of groceries rose 20%, and gas prices increased 62%. This is far from reducing inflation, but that won’t stop leftists from denying Biden made it so struggling Americans continued to struggle to make ends meet, while assigning all blame to Trump.

There is also no measurable way to determine whether or not climate change was reduced by 40%, but we can be certain they did nothing they pretended to accomplish.

The reason this is infuriating is not that people like Chu live in leftist La La Land, but because she could not care less about the suffering the previous administration caused, as people like her prioritize efforts to control the weather when there is no measurable problem to begin with.

Someone should really inform the left that solving the apocalypse is not their job, but clearly, we are dealing with some of the most arrogant individuals among us. It truly is a disgrace.
