YouTube Suspends Rand Paul for This Video Agreeing with Biden Adviser, CNN Expert About Cloth Masks
Rand Paul has been suspended from YouTube for posting a video that says masks don't work. Actually, scratch that. He was suspended for sharing this interview from Newsmax. Where he casually mentions that the common cloth masks we're told to wear don't protect us, in a video about the general topic of Anthony Fauci being a tyrant.
[Fauci] is promulgating bad science. ... So your eighth-graders running ... outside wearing a mask is probably going to not be good for their health. It's not comfortable. And there's no science to say you're preventing disease. ... The main thing about the masks when [Fauci] said they didn't work at all, was he didn't want people buying the N95 mask.
An example of Sen. Paul's point is this all-star track athlete who passed out because she was forced to run wearing a cloth mask. While casual in his comment, the senator isn't wrong. The most common masks we're told to wear aren't effective. When "the science" tells us to wear masks, they are talking about medical-grade masks properly handled and washed daily at high temperatures. The mask you bought at the pharmacy that you touch with your dirty hands and keep in your pocket doesn't protect you.
Rand Paul said something factually accurate and got suspended by YouTube for violating its C*VID guidelines against misinformation. Funny thing, though. Here is Joe Biden's former C*VID adviser, top epidemiologist, and public health official Michael Osterholm on CNN saying the same thing about cloth masks:
Media regular Dr. Osterholm (@mtosterholm): "We need to talk about better masking. We need to talk about N-95 respirators, which would do a lot for both people who are not yet vaccinated or not previously infected" pic.twitter.com/xqgArTOGrt

We know today that many of the face cloth coverings that people wear are not very effective in reducing any of the virus movement in or out.
Also, here is CNN's resident medical expert Leana Wen, also on CNN saying that basic, cloth masks are ineffective. In both cases, they want kids wearing N95 respirators in school. That of course is batsh!t crazy and shows how little the left actually cares about children. That's obvious with Dr. Wen, who is the former president of Planned Parenthood.
But when it came to the ineffectiveness of your basic cloth mask, they said the exact same thing Rand Paul said. Yet Rand Paul gets suspended, and they're both regulars on CNN. Funny thing about "the science." It's only "the science" depending on who is saying it. Either that or YouTube are leftist hacks who shill for whatever the Democrat Party position is that week. I lean towards believing option B.
