According to Joe Rogan, if you wanted to destroy the City of Los Angeles, you should do exactly what the city is doing.

Spencer Pratt is running against Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, assigning much blame to her leadership, including the lack of recovery efforts and her preventable incompetence in the loss of his home in the Palisades fire. That is only one of the many quarrels he has with the de facto communist.

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, Pratt discussed how homeowners are vulnerable to burglaries and, in many cases, must acquiesce to these crimes because the status quo benefits criminals over law-abiding citizens.

According to Pratt, there is not much officials can do when it comes to home invasions. This is because “these people all know they’re getting out in two weeks.” While you would assume that, because this is a serious felony, especially when the criminals are armed, in practice, that is not how these people are held accountable. To call the system forgiving and lenient towards these crimes would be an understatement.

He also added that there is a risk for homeowners who choose to stand their ground, as you might be the one prosecuted, despite the reasonable risk to your property, safety, and life.

Rogan pointed out that the system is set up in a way that makes homeowners fear protecting their property, so much so that it might be better for the property owner to run away than stand their ground.

There have been several instances in which homeowners were prosecuted for protecting their lives and property.

In 2023, “A Los Angeles homeowner who exchanged gunfire with a pair of would-be robbers in a terrifying incident that was captured on home surveillance video earlier has had his concealed carry license suspended,” according to KTLA. This means that after protecting his life, officials decided he no longer had a right to do so. It is unclear why, so draw your own conclusions.

Pratt recommends you “lock yourself in a closet and have your firearm and have a strong point” if someone breaks into your home. This is because the system is not set up in your favor, and the best chance you have of safety is to allow criminals to rob you clean.

If you are surprised by any of this, you are not paying attention. More often than not, progressive prosecutors have created a culture where criminals thrive, and law-abiding citizens suffer. This is because the left believes those committing crimes have not gotten to the “root cause” of their struggles, which is why their free will is not working. Subsequently, the left believes they are victims of society, despite how many people they harm.

This is also why Bass must lose, if the city is ever to recover. For far too long, law-abiding citizens have been slapped in the face because of progressive social experiments. It is time to end the restorative justice system and instill accountability culture back in place. If not, Los Angeles will increasingly become unlivable and will be forever destroyed.
