For a feminist, AOC does a poor job of representing women when the people she spends time fighting for could not care less if she existed. This is why it is unsurprising that AOC was ignored into oblivion when she tried to signal her lack of virtue by wearing a hijab in a room full of Muslim men.

If this is not cultural appropriation, nothing is.

It is unclear what she thinks about the fact that not wearing a hijab in many Muslim countries, such as Afghanistan, is punishable by death, but clearly -- none of that matters -- as she pathetically pretends to end misogynistic rule in the United States.

It is also unclear exactly what she said when she reportedly called for "solidarity" as nearly every man talked over her. That is because these people do not care about what she has to say. In fact, if the people in the audience were making the rules, she would be barred from opening her mouth again under the law. The fact that the left ignores all of that, as people like AOC throw on a headscarf to appease things she does not understand, is foolish, to say the very least.

AOC attended the event to mark the beginning of Eid al-Adha.

It is unclear why someone who is not Muslim needed to be there with the mayor, but again, if it were up to the attendees in the room, she would be legally barred from ever speaking on a stage again. Why that fact does not matter to the left is beyond reason, but that won’t stop them from pretending to be all in to end the invisible patriarchy.

But you know what the worst part is? She pretends to fight for human rights in a country that was literally founded on the idea everyone is afforded inalienable rights -- while promoting a misogynistic ideology to people that hate her because of her gender. Even worse, she is promoting radical Islam over Western Culture, despite only one of these systems making the world a better place, and the former actively engaging in some of the worst human rights violations in modern day.

Some reading this may believe it is not that deep. All she did was put on a headscarf and signal her lack of virtue to people who hate her. And that is correct. That is all she did. However, it is so much worse than that, as America becomes unrecognizable, while she pledges her allegiance to people who hate this country. That tells you all you need to know.
