For being the most powerful person in California, aka the state with the most “secure” elections in the whole country, he has a lot of nerve to claim the left needs to be “vigilant about what's going on in terms of election security."

LOL. The double standards here are doubling!

Firstly, it has been 10 years since Donald Trump first ran for office, and the Republican Party is still, in fact, intact. For the side to continuously claim he is a threat to Democracy for a decade, they seem to have very little evidence to back that up. Additionally, the lack of self-awareness is astonishing. When he claims we will lose the republic, he means if they don't rig the system in their favor, the left will not have an inevitable way to stay in power in perpetuity, and that, according to him, is a threat to the existence of this country.

By Newsom’s standards, or lack thereof, if we do not pack SCOTUS, this is a threat to Democracy. If we do not abolish the Electoral College, it will jeopardize the integrity of the republic. And if voter ID becomes a thing, the left may never stay in power again. All of these are allegedly the biggest threats to the republic, but for some reason, it seems these actions would destroy it. Weird how it turns out that way.

Do people like Newsom really think voters are this stupid? You have to be objectively naive to believe such nonsense, as the left has repeated these claims for years and nothing ever comes to fruition. Why do you think that is?
