First Trans Tennis Player Regrets Competing Against Women in 1977: “I was selfish”

Renée Richards sued in 1977 to compete in the US Open. The reason he had to sue was that she was a trans woman, aka a biological man. You see, back then it was not controversial, nor was this topic up for debate. Everyone understands that despite how much you medically alter your body, and no matter how you dress, and no matter how you feel deep down inside, biology is, in fact, biology.
Richards was successful in that lawsuit. However, he has now admitted that that was wrong, as every cell in his body is consumed with male DNA.
WOW: Tr*nsgender tennis player Renée Richards (a man) who SUED in 1977 to try and compete in the women’s U.S. Open now REGRETS that decision, calling her own lawsuit “selfish” and ADMITTED men competing in women’s sports is UNFAIR.

Per CNN:
In 1977, Dr. Renée Richards — a well-regarded ophthalmologist who’d spent most of her life as a very good amateur tennis player — sued for her right to play in the US Open.
A judge ruled that the US Open had violated New York State’s Human Rights Law, and that Richards could play. Though she was knocked out in the first round that year in singles, she was a finalist in women’s doubles. She went on to play in other tournaments and in 1981, at the age of 47, she retired from professional tennis.
The fact that we had left-wing judges back then ruling that men had a “human right” to compete in women’s sports is truly astonishing.
Richards, now 92, describes herself as a steadfast supporter of trans rights. She also calls her own lawsuit “selfish” and says she opposes trans women and girls participating in women’s sports.
This is because trans women, aka men, do not have a “right” to compete on the women's thing. Leftists can make up whatever lies they wish, but it does not change the fact that trans women are and always will be men. Glad we cleared that up.
Richards: Because we know better now. Sure, I wanted to be happy. I was selfish. I was looking out for myself. I was trying to do, first of all, what was good for me and making me happy, and only secondly, what was fair for the world.
This really sums up much of the current trans insanity. When trans women, aka men, compete in the female division, they do this because they are narcissistic fools who only care about themselves. Why would they care about upholding fairness when it gives them attention and a medal? To call that “selfish” would actually be an understanding.
