CNN and Jubilee hosted James Talarico using the “CHANGE MY MIND” format, where Talarico sat across from undecided voters to -- you guessed it -- change their mind. Today’s show breaks down why we are suing all three.
“Once you rip it off, and you profit, and you use it for propaganda, I now have a problem,” Crowder said. “Why did you not do that before? All this time, you never came up with this idea because these people were incapable of doing it."
Change My Mind is an active, registered trademark.
“Last night, they just ripped it off on purpose,” Crowder said. “I do not want Change My Mind to help James Talarico ruin Texas.”
Polling shows that Talarico needs some of the Republican vote to win.
“The only path to victory for him is to get more Republicans and to keep other Republicans from voting for his opponent,” Gerald A said. “What better way, for the average voter who is not paying a ton of attention, to tune into a town hall, and see a very familiar Conservative brand format and go, ‘Maybe I can vote for this guy. Maybe I can vote as a Republican for Democrats.’”
Crowder added, “We need to find out who flagrantly disregarded the trademark, who flagrantly plagiarized, who profited off of it most, and for what degree of time.”
Remember, this concept was once rejected by cable news.
“Just like YouTube, just like online streaming, just like video podcast space, which no one wanted, we took that risk; we were the ones who paid the cost, and these other people swoop in, they get some investors, steal it, and profit,” Crowder said. “We have to find out who was the ripoff artist.”
