The shrill harpies from The View cry that calling James Talarico "TalaFREAKo" makes other freaks feel bad about themselves

After thirty years, you would think the yaks on "The View" would run out of dumb things to say. Instead, they found an excuse to be upset at calling James Talarico "TalaFREAKo." Also, remember that when you see takes like this, "The View" is considered a bona fide NEWS program by ABC News.
Here's Sara Haines' reason why she can't calm down over hearing "TalaFREAKo."
Because to me, it harkens those years back to school where someone was labeled a “freak” because they were different. They were other. And then it gave people permission socially to treat them almost like a pariah. It like dehumanizes someone. So, hearing the “Talafreako” bothers me more. And it's not because it's offensive to Talarico. It's for all the people listening that are hearing the shame-laced accusation of ‘if you are different, then you can be a target.’
Yesterday, Sara Haines was hinting the new press secretary is a whore (after claiming Gillis's joke leads to rape) and now she's whining about people calling Tararico a "freak" because mean kids use it in school and it's a "shame-laced accusation."She calls it a "dangerous message to be sending."

Whatever you say, lady. Generally speaking, people who identify as "freaks" let their freak flag fly and are proud of it. If they are offended by anything, they'd be offended at Talarico being believed to be a member of their community. Freaks take pride in their freakiness. Being associated with Talarico sends a bad message.
Here's my question, though. Is this an actual thing making Sara emotional? Or do the girls get a memo that says "this is who you have to defend or attack" and they have to make up their own details from there.
I'd like to think a grown adult would find a better reason to be upset over something political. But then again, The View has been on for 30 years. It's not like they don't have a track record.
