An anti-ICE Portland coffee shop owner is asking for donations after his “mentally ill” male friend smashed up the front of the building while wearing a dress.

It will never be understood why the left believes “mental health issues” are somehow an excuse to commit violent crimes.

According to The Post Millennial:

Heretic Coffee, a woke nonprofit coffee shop in Portland, Oregon, has asked the public for donations after a man wearing a dress smashed up the business's glass door. The leftist coffee shop described the assailant as a "friend" suffering from mental health issues, and said it would rather raise funds than press charges.

So, what happens if this “friend” does the same thing again? And why does the left insist that because someone is not mentally sane, that somehow gives them a pass for awful crimes? Free will still exists. If he knew the rules of society before this alleged episode, which he did, then he certainly knew it was wrong. Nonetheless, anyone who commits such crimes, especially in such a deranged way, should be held accountable. In fact, the property owner should not even get a say in this.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 18. According to video footage shared on Instagram, a male subject wearing a pink dress can be seen kicking the coffee shop's front door, shattering the glass.

"Hi friends. Today at Heretic, a friend who was having a mental health crisis kicked in our front door and shattered the glass," the shop wrote in an Instagram post. "No one was hurt, and we're not interested in punishing anyone for this - but we're left with an entryway we can't secure and a repair bill that could become quite expensive. Replacing the door and glass will run us between $500-1,000. We're asking for help."

The company launched a $1,000 fundraiser on Tuesday and has since surpassed that goal, receiving more than $10,000.

Wow. A bunch of lunatics raised money for a woke coffee shop that condones crime because of "mental health” or something. How embarrassing. You cannot make up this type of nonsense.

What is so pathetic is how they excuse the man for committing crimes while they beg the public for help. Ironically, they also vowed to shield criminal aliens from prosecution and deny entry to ICE workers. The owner truly has his priorities mixed up. What a disgrace.
