Oftentimes, the left likes to pretend they don't engage in political lawfare. Sometimes, however, they get a candidate dumb enough to admit the quiet part out loud. Angie Nixon is one of those people.

According to Nixon, it is a lie to claim she wants to defund the police, as she wants to see her political opponent jailed. She can't do that if they are defunded. Duh.

I mean, Chris Murphy says it all, doesn't he?

You don't have to know anything about politics to realize she is an objectively dumb person.

According to Fox News:

"The fact remains that Ashley Moody is a lying, cheating, thieving, scamming person who basically took $10 million from sick kids for the Medicaid program. And she rerouted that into two political slush funds for Ron DeSantis to defeat two citizen-led ballot initiatives," Nixon told CNN host Kasie Hunt. "She also voted to end healthcare for over 440,000 people here in the state of Florida. And they are spreading, like, a lot of disinformation and lies on commercials about me, of saying things like, "I want to abolish prisons and I want to defund the police."

This is far worse than defunding the police, as she admits she solely wants to use it for political prosecution. In case it was not clear to her, this is a free country. People have rights. You can’t go after political opponents because you have a feeling a crime may or may not have occurred. In America, you tend to need evidence before investigating someone. Is she really this stupid?

The Democratic Senate candidate then said, "Why would I want to do that when I want her locked up and punished in jail for what she has done?"

In other words, she has no evidence, just a hunch and a vague, ambiguous vibe. That will totally hold up in a court of law.

The problem with this is not that we don’t know the left wants to politically prosecute those they hate; it is that she said it so boldly, with zero fear of being called out. That is the behavior of a delusional person who is far from reality. You don't have to be a political expert to understand that.
