"Most insane, psycho diabolical thing I've heard": Spencer Pratt UNLOADS on LA Mayor's unhinged claim he's exploiting grief

NEW: LA mayoral candidate @spencerpratt rips sitting mayor Karen Bass for accusing him of exploiting the grief of the people in the Palisades:
"I'm not sure if Karen Bass forgot that she let my house burn down and my parents' house burn down. And I had actual neighbors burn… pic.twitter.com/Sj1vbOXOTB

Chris Pratt is running as a republican to be mayor of Los Angeles. This is where people will chirp that they don't care about LA or California and something something liberals. If we're going to rant about how the left has destroyed our cities with decades of progressive policies, we should at least acknowledge it when someone steps up and makes noise saying they'll do the opposite. Pratt is also pissing off the right people, namely, current Kamala Harris-endorsed mayor Karen Bass.
Three key points. The first is that Pratt, along with thousands of other families living in the Palisades, lost everything when the city burned to the ground. We're learning today that the arsonist was inspired by Luigi Mangione and the democrat party rhetoric that people who have more money than you are responsible for everything you don't like.
And I know what some of you are thinking, "Brodigan, someone inspired by democrat party rhetoric to violence? The heck you say."
Heck. I do, in point of fact, say heck.
Two. Bass's incompetent leadership during the fires is compounded that, over a year later, out of the 6800+ families who lost their homes, only 13 have been allowed to be rebuilt. Pratt dropped a banger ad comparing where those families are forced to live to where Bass and her elitist friends live.

Third, Bass lashed out at Pratt for "exploiting the grief" that she and her incompetence caused families who lost everything in the fires. People like...Spencer Pratt.
Now here is Pratt's response:
I'm not sure if Karen Bass forgot that she let my house burn down and my parents' house burn down. And I had actual neighbors burn alive across the street from my childhood home. The only grief is my grief, my community's grief that I initially started this fight on behalf of. It's the most insane, psycho, diabolical thing I've heard in a minute.

Obviously, Pratt is still a republican in Los Angeles. Voters in progressive cities tend to suffer from enough Stockholm syndrome that they keep voting against their self-interests and keep re-electing the same failed progressive leaders over and over and over again. Even in a Democrat primary, they'll go with the worst option and act surprised when things get worse. See Chicago and New York City.
Pratt could be the right candidate (no pun intended) in the right place at the right time (ok, maybe a pun snuck in there).
The Pratt campaign is interesting because he intuitively understands that the only path to victory is through a media spectacle. California is a one-party state, and the entire institutional apparatus is designed to create a closed system ruled by the Left. Mobilizing the public…

People on the right criticize and complain that republicans have given up and don't try in the cities. Spencer Pratt is stepping up, and doing so in Los Angeles. Let's at least help amplify his chances.
