Sit down, because you're not going to believe this one. The viral clip of Joe Rogan calling ICE "the Gestapo" that's being pushed by Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) is fake news. Or, at least grossly out of context. Funny, because usually when the media or the left (but I repeat myself) take Rogan out of context, it's to attack Rogan. The clip I posted is over a minute long. Left-wing activists cut it down to fifteen seconds of Rogan saying, "Are we really going to be the Gestapo? Where are your papers? Is that what we've come to?" Then both CNN and MS Meow, instead of doung a journalism and seeing the full quote about what he said, ran what they were told to by activists claiming, "See? Even the MAGA-coded podcast bro thinks we're in Nazi Germany!!!!!"

In reality, here's his FULL quote:

I think there’s a balance to be achieved. I just don’t know how it gets done because I see both perspectives.

I see the perspective of the people that say ‘hey, there was an illegal program moving people in here to get votes, moving people in here to get congressional seats, and we’ve got to change that. We’ve got to take those people that got in and send them back to where they came from, or do something. Because if we don’t, they’re going to keep doing it again if they get into office in 2028, and it’s going to accelerate. You’re going to have to take away some of the damage that’s been done to a true democratic system because you’ve kind of hijacked it. And they kind of have.

And then I can also see the point of view of the people that say, ‘You don't want militarized people in the streets just roaming around snatching people up, many of whom turn out to actually be US citizens that just don't have their papers on them. Are we really going to be the Gestapo? Where are your papers? Is that what we've come to?’

So it’s more complicated than I think people want to admit. People want to look at this as a black and white issue - you know, if you’re a compassionate person or if you’re a pragmatic person. I don’t think that’s true. I think it’s both.

In fairness to the media, there are plenty of people on our side sharing the out-of-context video put out by left-wing activists as well, because it's good for clicks and a big rage-bait check from Elon Musk. So, it's not only the media sucking hard in this instance.

Rogan's also wrong in what he said. They aren't just randomly snatching people up, and many of whom don't turn out to be US citizens who "don't have their papers on them." Again, that info is being put out by a network of leftists who are trained to spread invalid truths, knowing that if they lie, they can count on CNN and MS MEOW to swear by it. Rogan should know that, because it's the same people who spread invalid truths about him for the same reason. Remember this banger?

But that's something that could be discussed via a rational conversation, if people are allowed to have one. Legacy media exists to make sure no one is ever allowed to.
