Crime has been running wild throughout liberal cities like it's Hulkamania in the 80s. Many of these liberal cities who, in 2020, defunded the police and/or passed laws that made stealing up to $950 no longer illegal. Many of the liberal politicians who passed those laws were voted into office by liberal voters who live in those liberal cities. I smell a trend. It smells worse than the Bears chances against the Packers today.

For liberals, there are several ways to deal with the crime. One is to slap the criminals on the wrist and send them back onto the streets. Another is to give up and tell people to stay away from the city. Or, if you are Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, you can blame the victim. She is the first black and gay mayor of Chicago to do so, so another glass ceiling has been shattered. Not unlike the windows in the downtown shopping district.

"They" means local businesses. The local businesses criminals are stealing things from.

Lori Lightfoot was elected Mayor of Chicago. She has done nothing about crime (except suggest cops ask permission before chasing perps) and is fresh out of ideas. So if you are trying to support yourself and your family by running a business in her city, you are on your own. Until the next Election Day. Where you will no doubt vote for the same failed liberal leaders.
