Anti-Trump congressman drops latest reason Democrats think married women are too dumb to get a voter ID

Democrat Jamie Raskin - desperate to defeat the SAVE America Act - thinks married women aren't capable of showing proof of citizenship to register to vote.

According to the left, it is not just Black people who are too incompetent to get an ID, but also married women.
Nearly half of all adult women in the country are married. Democrat Jamie Raskin believes all of them are too stupid to prove they are who they say they are. He claims that because many of them have changed their name, they will have to show a passport to vote. However, because many of these people also do not have passports, this turns into a poll tax, which effectively violates the 19th Amendment.
This is not true, and there is a simple solution to the dilemma. All married people have to do is show both their birth certificate and marriage certificate if they want to register to vote. This is not complicated, nor should it create a “poll tax.”
The left does realize that married women need to show their birth certificate and marriage certificate when they obtain an ID in the first place, right? It’s not like the left is going around claiming this is driver's license suppression, because it is common sense. Common-sense driver license laws, however, don't jeopardize the left's chances of winning an election. This is precisely why their outrage is selective, which makes it all the more invalid.
This is also not rocket science. By lying and claiming married women are too stupid to comprehend this extremely simple task, people like Raskin have proven just how misogynistic they truly are. What makes that even more hypocritical is that they claim to be fighting for women in the first place.
Even worse, the American people largely support voter ID. This is because you don't need to prove mass fraud to secure elections further. That is like saying you need a break-in before you put up security cameras. Why does the left refuse to acknowledge that?
Maybe one day the left will fight for you in the way they do to unsecure elections, but as of writing this, they have no plans of that in the near future. And to call that a slap in the face to the security of our federal elections would be an understatement.
