Common sense would tell you that when a foreign national gets deported, it would make it a lot harder for them to come back. Unfortunately, that is often not the case. There are far too many cases where a criminal was deported several times, only to commit heinous crimes every time.

In the case of Bairon Posada-Hernandez, a Honduran illegal immigrant, he was deported four times, only to then allegedly commit attempted murder the fifth time. Before this, he had accumulated at least 15 charges, including assault, “domestic violence, obstruction of police, possession of a weapon, drug possession, and aggravated assault,” according to The Post Millennial.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has requested that New York authorities not release Bairon Posada-Hernandez, a Honduran illegal immigrant who has been deported four times with an extensive criminal record, who is now accused of shoving two men onto New York City subway tracks.

The fact that someone this evil was able to game the system several times, including after committing awful, violent crimes, proves just how broken things are. The fact that the left fails to see that open borders open the floodgates for people like this shows how naive they truly are. There is more than enough proof that higher illegal immigration numbers greatly jeopardize public safety for law-abiding citizens.

Why the American people have to keep demanding that officials take these things seriously is beyond reason. And unfortunately, two more Americans were almost killed in the progressive pursuit to ensure no human is illegal. You truly cannot make this nonsense up.

The alleged attack occurred on Sunday, March 8 at the Lexington Avenue-63rd Street station in Manhattan. According to officials, a 30-year-old victim is in stable condition, while an 83-year-old Air Force veteran remains in critical condition. Posada-Hernandez was arrested on March 10 and charged with attempted murder. ICE placed an immigration detainer on him the same day, requesting that local authorities notify the agency before releasing him so he can be taken into federal custody.

The fact that federal officers have to request that local authorities not release him tells you all you need to know.

“Bairon Posada-Herandez is a serial criminal and four-time deported illegal alien from Honduras who should never have been able to walk our streets and harm innocent Americans,” said DHS Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “We are praying for the victims and their families. DHS is calling upon New York sanctuary politicians to commit to this ICE detainer and not release this heinous criminal back into New York communities.”

When leftists shield illegal immigrants, these are the kind of people they blindly defend. Someone should really inform the left that just because someone has broken federal immigration laws, that does not automatically make them an upstanding citizen. In fact, it is often the opposite.

It is no surprise the man was in New York, as leftist sanctuary policies shield criminals from accountability every day. This is what happens when the left is more concerned with giving criminal aliens special treatment, while they slap innocent Americans in the face. And the fact that crimes like these are 100% preventable is all the more infuriating.
