Trump made a roster switch, and Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin will be the new Homeland Security Chairman. Kristi Noem is moving into her new role as the hilariously titled "Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas." As Mullin makes his way through the confirmation process, one of my favorite stories is sure to come up. It's the time he stood up to beat the piss out of Teamsters President Sean O'Brien during a Senate hearing.

Note: This took place before O'Brien saw the writing on the wall and endorsed Donald Trump over Kamala Harris. Also of note, Mullin is a wrestling coach, a father to two Oklahoma State Wrestling Champions, and has 3-0 MMA record fighting for the Xtreme Fighting League.

Mullin and O'Brien had a longstanding beef. The Senator is a successful businessman, so of course, O'Brien would hate him. After O'Brien got chirpy and challenged Mullin to a fight, "any time, any place," the Senator found those terms acceptable.

Instead of nutting up, O'Brien opted to shut up until a November hearing that same year. Mullins reminded the Teamster of the challenge, and that's when things started to pop off.

"OK, that's fine, perfect," O'Brien responded.

"You want to do it now?" Mullin asked.

"I would love to do it right now," O'Brien said.

"Well, stand your butt up then,” Mullin shot back.

"You stand your butt up, big guy," O'Brien said.

Mullin stood up, ready to go, until, of all people, Bernie Sanders had to be the one to call for peace. The hearing concluded without any fisticuffs.

What's awesome now is that while a junior senator getting into a fight during a hearing flew under the radar a few years ago, it's guaranteed to get major attention now...AND when they are about to announce the UFC Fight Card at the White House this summer.

Mullins is about to become a new hero in our ongoing culture wars. We at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website are soooo here for that.
