Most people know Kristen Stewart as whatsherface from the sparkly vampire movies. The only other thing she was in I can think of is Adventureland, which was kind of funny. I also think she decided she was non-binary recently for some reason. Either way, she is still considered a Hollywood celebrity and therefore has feelings about Donald Trump deporting illegal immigrants.

She wasn't asked about it. But she answers that way anyways, and says the people need to rise up and do something like *checks notes* stop buying cheeseburgers.

I can't stand the idea that the dismantling of the culture that did have a hand in like, making me who I am, which is so meaningless ... So like where I'm from, I don't identify with that right now ... Do we stop buying burgers in the daytime? What do we do about this? Like it, I can't, I can't fathom that it's happening until it doesn't happen. It's like Los Angeles doesn't exist without all of us.

...huh?

Before we go further, one quick question...

I'm having trouble understanding the burgers thing. She's a low-information lefty. The culinary schtick is usually to lecture people who support common-sense illegal information reform that they can't eat Mexican food anymore. Because most Democrats think all Mexicans are in this country illegally. Shocking to no one more than the Mexican-Americans who are a) legal, b) love America, and c) work for ICE.

But boycotting burgers? In her brain, does she think shutting down the burger industry will cause McDonald's and Jack in the Box to rise up? And what happens when people just order a chicken sandwich instead? She might want to workshop her burger boycott.
