Purple-haired Democrat has a cow over raw milk as she screeches at RFK Jr.

Americans should never take health advice from anyone on the left. This is especially true for people with purple hair, as “the science” correlates unconventional hair colors with higher rates of mental illness. So, the last person anyone should listen to on nutritional guidelines is Rep. Rosa DeLauro.
Meanwhile in Congress, Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) is having a mental meltdown over raw milk during her questioning of HHS Secretary Kennedy Jr.:
“If I were the head of HHS, I would by God say don’t take raw milk! It is dangerous to your health and if you can’t say that well maybe… pic.twitter.com/7Pf3NoTdEq

DeLauro is having a cow over this.
Speaking to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., DeLauro went on a meltdown regarding raw milk. She believes this drink is dangerous to your health. It is unclear what evidence she is using to justify this tirade, but we can almost be certain that she is using political science, rather than any analytical data, to back up her point, which is extremely lacking.
According to DeLauro, if she were in charge of HHS, she would “say don’t take raw milk. It is dangerous to your health.”
Someone should really inform the left that just because they are the loudest ones in the room, that does not make them factually correct. While you are free to form your own conclusions about the safety of unpasteurized milk, I will be jumping on the raw milk bandwagon, as I believe the studies prove not only that it is safe but also that it is far more nutritionally beneficial.
When you pasteurize milk, many of the nutritional and immune factors are destroyed, damaged, or reduced. According to the Raw Milk Institute, “Allergy protection ceases when raw milk is heated to 149 °F, which is the same temperature at which the whey proteins are denatured. It is likely that the raw whey proteins are responsible for raw milk’s beneficial effects on allergies, asthma, and inflammation.”
Does she have any evidence to contradict that? No? I didn't think so.
Even if the left wants to argue that there is a risk from contamination, the same argument can be made for foods like leafy greens.
Many studies have confirmed that “Leafy green vegetables are a major source of foodborne illnesses.” And one study states that “up to 9.18% of foodborne illnesses linked to identified pathogens are attributed to leafy greens.” Why does the left not want to ban these vegetables, considering the risk to Americans? Why are the standards so double here? Selective outrage is never logical, and because of that, it is safe to assume the left’s rage over raw milk has nothing to do with health.
DeLauro is nothing more than an out-of-touch boomer who believes she knows better about your health than you. Not only is that dangerous for public health, but it is a form of tyrannical overreach that has no place in America.
