“We need our slaves to pick the crops.”
Becerra tells @Elex_Michaelson that we need illegal immigrants for cheap farm labor to pick the crops, build our homes, and be caregivers and gardeners

While the left is in the fight to ensure no human is illegal, their motives are not so naive. Many of them know exactly what they are doing. This is why it is not surprising when Xavier Becerra indicates that the reason we need an illegal alien population is solely for cheap labor. And if you are surprised by this, you are not paying attention.
According to Xavier Becerra, who is running to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom, the reason we need illegals in this country is not that it is the morally superior thing to do, but because it keeps prices down. This is why he believes we need them to pick our crops, build our homes, and take caregiver jobs Americans won't. And to call this the perfect representation of leftist compassion would be correct.
The worst part about what he said is not that he believes illegals are a vessel for slave labor, but that he thinks it is morally permissible to afford healthcare benefits to migrants on the taxpayer's dime. And while many struggling Americans are not afforded such benefits while struggling to make ends meet, he believes breaking federal immigration laws, despite being a foreign national who has done nothing beneficial for this country, should not negate it.
His opponent, Republican candidate Steve Hilton, believes these policies incentivize people to come here and break the law. The reason Hilton thinks that is because it is factually correct. You see, what Hilton has understood here that Becerra has failed to convey is that the job of the governor is to represent the American people in the state, not a foreign national hoping to benefit from your dime.
But you really should not be surprised by any of this. We are talking about Becerra, a man who “lost track of 85,000 migrant children, many to traffickers.” Clearly, this man supports policies that not only make the American people worse off but also embolden those who harm the most vulnerable and innocent members of society, all while exploiting many of these foreigners for cheap labor. How is any of this moral in the leftist playbook?
Californians, you know what to do. Please ensure this man does not become the next governor of the State of California.
