The interesting thing about the Los Angeles mayor's election is that it should not be political. It is either you want feces off the streets (literally) or you want more of the same. This is not about left versus right. It is about common sense over the zombie apocalypse. This is why it is both naive and pathetic for Chelsea Handler to mock Spencer Pratt by claiming the last thing LA needs is another “straight white male in office.”

Billy Bush asked Pratt his thoughts on Chelsea Handler’s comments. Pratt claimed that Handler’s comments are naive and foolish. This is because, firstly, it is unclear who her comments were directed toward, because, according to Pratt, he certainly has the gay vote. Secondly, it has nothing to do with anything. Voters don’t care about people’s bedroom preferences or their gender. That would be both sexist and heterophobic. People care about fixing the chaos the left has caused. This should not be controversial.

“The only people that aren’t [voting for Pratt] are the socialists, lunatics, and the communists. Any normal functioning brain that doesn’t want to step in human [feces] when they get their matcha is voting for me, which is a lot of people.”

This is common sense. People want their city back. The last thing voters should do is re-elect the people who created the problem in the first place. While Karen Bass did not create the homeless epidemic, she certainly has done nothing to fix it. Some may argue she has even ignored the problem. And the issue with ignoring the problem is that voters need someone in office who will end it. The last thing they need is a naive communist who pretends they are studying a compassionate approach to the issue, while it gets worse by the day.

That being said, Handler is a naive buffoon, and it is arrogant of her to pretend she is an authority figure when she is incredibly out of touch with the average voter.
