The problem with Hollywood actors lecturing the masses about a thing or two is that not only did no one ask them, but they could not be more out of touch if they tried. We are talking about multimillionaires telling someone in middle America living paycheck to paycheck why they must have every waking moment consumed by fears about climate change.

Many of these people would do themselves a lot of favors if they just stopped talking -- which is precisely why Ricky Gervais once told these out-of-touch buffoons to do just that. The problem, however, is that most of Hollywood are leftists. This means they could not be more arrogant if they tried. Arrogant people don't like it when you tell them to keep quiet. Subsequently, Rainn Wilson is doubling down on his asinine political opinions and has announced he will not refrain from lecturing you on all things Gaza, climate change, and politics.

In Feb., Gervais posted a reminder on Instagram of his 2020 speech warning celebrities that they ought to shut up if they wish to remain relevant. While I am paraphrasing here and that is certainly not what he said, that is what everyone else was and is thinking.

Per his past comments:

So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.

This is something that the left needs to be reminded of often. Time and again, they continue to demand you acknowledge these so-called political sins, despite no one asking them. Worse of all, they are living a life that most people will never experience. These are people who cannot even comprehend what it means to struggle to make ends meet. Yet, they believe they know better on things like climate change, borders, and other leftist causes that have no basis in morality. Wilson is one of those people, and again, he would do himself a lot of favors if he stopped talking. But because he is a very, very arrogant person, he has proven he cannot do that even if his life depended on it. To call him an out-of-touch fool would be an understatement.
