Jasmine Crockett lost the March Texas Democratic Senate primary. Because of this, she is out of a job. She has now confirmed she is looking for part-time legal work and has been reaching out to law firms. She emphasizes that she needs something flexible, because she implied she “wants to get to this book.” It is unclear if she is writing a book, or what it means, as no reports are confirming this claim, so draw your own conclusions.

My first question is whether she is going to be using this many filler words when she starts "practicing" law again? Someone should really tell her that it does not take that much effort to convey thoughts. In the clip, she claims she is “a whole lawyer.” It is unclear what a “whole lawyer” is or what it would mean to be half a lawyer. In another example, she states, “I am engaged in conversations with some law firms about what that could look like.” Who even talks like that? It would do her a lot of favors in her “conversations with some law firms about what that could look like” if she would speak more directly, but that is neither here nor there.

They really just give any idiot a law degree these days, don't they? While it is unclear what law firm would hire her, we can almost be certain there is at least one firm waiting to recruit their next DEI hire.

While Crockett’s days as a lawmaker were short-lived, it is unclear what the future has in store for her. Clearly, though, her arrogance has proven that she refuses to step out of the public eye, despite how irrelevant she now is.
