Don't get me wrong. I think we need to be careful about being TOO excited about running against Jasmine Crockett. Yes, she's a Democrat running for US Senate in Texas. Yes, she says things that are intelligence-challenged. Yes, she might not realize that the electorate in Texas and her stans on TikTok are not the same. Still, you don't want to tempt the wrath of the whatever from high atop the thing. Ya feel me?

Jasmine Crockett is a serious challenger who could seriously flip a seat in Texas. As opposed to all those times the left and the media (but I repeat myself) thought Beto O'Rourke could. She needs to be seriously taken seriously.

However -- and maybe this is just because I'm not of the culture -- I question the intelligence of your announcement video being nothing but you and all the times Donald Trump has called you a nincompoop. Also, if you're going to go with a "boss babe" motif highlighted with your big "boss babe" move of crossing your arms to stick it to Donald Trump about what a "boss babe" you are, you might want to frame the shot so people can actually see you do so. 16:9 is your friend.

Methinks there is gonna be meltdowns at whoever was in charge of this. The streets are already saying how her staff hates her and how the congresswoman and thought leader of the Democrat Party is a bit "extra."

"She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office, and is really just indifferent to staff and will scream at them," one former aide said. "She is never in the office and is very disengaged. She does her bulls*t that goes viral, and then freaks out over the most random things."

"She is focused almost exclusively on being an influencer, not a member of Congress," another said.

Come to think of it, her colleagues don't appear to be big fans either. When The Atlantic attempted to write glowing puff piece on Jasmine, 33 Democrats either didn't respond or refused to comment on what it's like being in the presence of such an intellectual powerhouse. Crockett was none too happy finding out the glowing puff piece might not have been as glowing as she deserved.

As for her colleagues, four days before this story was published, Crockett called me to express frustration that I had reached out to so many House members without telling her first. She was, she told me, “shutting down the profile and revoking all permissions.”

Crockett does not have supporters so much as she has admirers.

See, it's those admirers YASSSS KWEEEEENING her with likes and shares on social media that could, theoretically, propel her to success in November 2026 in a way that hasn't worked for anyone outside of New York City before.

We need to take Jasmine Crockett seriously. And we here at the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website are going to seriously enjoy all the content that comes our way as a result.
