Woman rips Dunkin' Donuts after they opened a new location in South Los Angeles that doesn't let people inside.

According to TikToker JustanLAgirl, the new Dunkin’ Donuts in South Los Angeles wants “your money” but does not want customers inside. While the corporation has yet to confirm this statement, it is safe to assume that the high violent crime rate might have something to do with it.
According to the New York Post:
A customer has trashed the opening of a new Dunkin’ Donuts in South Los Angeles — which she refers to as “the hood” in a viral post — for its set up that doesn’t allow customers inside the building.
To order from the new doughnut spot at Manchester Boulevard and South Figueroa Street, customers must drive through or use a touch screen terminal and pick up their food and drinks from a service window. The store opened in early April.
The new Dunkin’ sits on the border of two LAPD districts — 77th Street and South East LA — the 77th Street Division alone logged 10 homicides so far this year, accounting for roughly 14% of all 72 citywide murders, despite being a small neighborhood, per the most recent police crime data.
Robberies have also increased by 39% in the past four weeks, with aggravated assaults increasing by 25%, according to the outlet.
The 77th Street and Southeast divisions account for roughly 17% of all violent crime across the entire city.
What is so absurd about claims like the one the TikToker made is that these people believe they are owed so much, despite the general public, at least in that area, not proving they can act like normal citizens. Employees should not have to gamble their safety under the fake guise of inclusivity. And just because you are offended does not mean you are factually correct.
While it is true that Dunkin' just "wants their money,” it has no obligation to open its doors to the public. If that is a failing business strategy, the corporation will just have to learn that the hard way. And while I also do not doubt for a second that the other coffee shop has much better coffee, it goes without saying that the two cater to different clientele. It is unclear why this is hard to comprehend for the South LA influencer, but I digress.
