One would think that with rampant crime in Los Angeles and pro-crime District Attorneys being yeeted out of office, California would be done with defunding the police. Nope! West Hollywood just slashed its sheriff's budget as crime has risen by 137 percent. When Gavin Newsom runs for president in 2024 promising to bring California to America, this is what he means.

The West Hollywood City Council voted to cut the Sheriff's Department budget, eliminating four deputies. With the savings, the council is redirecting the money to fund thirty unarmed "security ambassadors" to patrol the crime invested area.

They also redirected money to increase funding for a Russian arts festival, even though I was of the belief we were supposed to be canceling Russia. I guess West Hollywood no longer hashtag stands with Ukraine.

Daily Mail reports crime has risen by 137 percent, "with a wave of pickpocketing complaints and theft hitting the upscale area." To combat that crime, instead of trained officers, West Hollywood would now have unarmed ambassadors. They're from something called the "Block By Block" program. It must be where you eliminate cops, then see how the area falls to criminals block by block.

Councilwoman Sepi Shyne calls the move fiscally responsible because sheriff's deputies "cost too much" and block by block represents more, quote "bang for the buck." The bang would be from the criminals since the ambassadors don't carry.

The area is also under the jurisdiction of ultra-radical progressive Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón, who doesn't believe in prosecuting crime. The fewer cops in the area, the fewer criminals caught.
