Crime is so out of hand in New York City, we're back to playing the "knockout game." This is where punks, thugs, and other nogoodniks walk up and punch someone from behind like a sucker-punching little pussy for fun. There was a social media component too. Two losers tried to bring it back.

Turns out the dude they targeted is retired NYPD and can take a punch.

CBS News reports on Harvey Kraft being sucker-punched on Brighton Beach. Kraft is retired with twenty years on the job.

It was just something you don't expect. They hit me in the temple, but I could tell it was full impact, roundhouse blow, because it felt like a brick.

After twenty years on the job, Kraft could take a punch. Also, and this key, the thug hit like a b*tch. Kraft shook it off and wanted to have a conversation with the two hooligans to discuss what was up now.

But as soon as I saw I wasn't knocked out, and I pursued them, they are all running for their lives.

Kraft noticed one of them had their phone out and ready to record. He guesses they would have put the footage on YouTube trying to get some media publicity. The two losers will be getting plenty of social media publicity. Not the kind they were counting on. though. They don't even get a cool nickname like McDonald's Axe Smasher, the Green Goblin Gang, or Black Jesus.

They'll be nothing more than two schmucks soon to be arrested. And quickly released without bail, since this is New York City.
