It was a slow day in the news on Sunday, which managed to turn an example of Democrat hypocrisy opposing voter ID into how much MAGA-Americans enjoy the all-you-can-eat buffet at Chesticles. You may have missed this because you were busy being a normal person enjoying Sunday with friends and family, but it was all the rage on X-Twitters.

SPOILER: It all stems from Aaron Rupar clipping a thing a Republican said. Which, know what I mean?

Deputy AG Todd Blanche discussed voter ID on Meet the Press. Basically, on how you need an ID to do everything except take part in the one most important thing We The People have to do as Americans. In that one instance, Democrats are very insistent that you do NOT have to prove who you are.

"There's a lot of things we can be doing, like voter ID. Every time you walk into a restaurant you have to show ID. How about you have to show your idea to vote? That's not anything that's crazy."

The dishonest implication is that Blanche was saying you can't even enter a restaurant without showing ID. While it was worded clumsily, it was obvious he was talking about needing to show ID to have a drink with dinner. But I know that you know that I know that you know...

In response to Blanche getting Rupar'd, a silly person who is a content creator for a silly website claimed to have one of her silly friends ask a silly question:

Let's pretend, for the sake of argument, that this conversation actually happened. And that Catherine really did have this conversation with her friend. And that she didn't just make it up because she thought it was a sick burn. And that it was either this or claim her seven-year-old daughter came into the room crying because she was watching Meet the Press and was scared that if we had voter ID, it would be the return of Hitler.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes it's nice that the food is there. Even though, if we're talking about a strip club that is known for its food, they tend not to be known for their strippers. Going to a place specifically for one of your three daily meals where you risk losing your appetite isn't the breast decision.

However, this IS, in point of fact, an unreasonable theory. Not that claiming MAGA-Americans like to look at boobs is unreasonable. It's like Democrat-Americans liking to look at drag queens, only normal. But claiming that anyone goes to a strip club for the food is silly. Yet alone, all their meals.

This is all hypothetically speaking, of course. I'VE never been to one of these places. I've just heard things.
