In the time it took staff members to “save” Socialist Mayor Katie Wilson from answering the most basic and softball question any mayor should be able to answer, we could have solved world hunger.

As of writing this, we still have zero clue whether Wilson believes adding more surveillance cameras is in the best interest of public safety.

On Tuesday, KOMO News Senior Reporter Chris Daniels asked Wilson how she was doing after shots were reportedly fired near the mayor’s news conference. She responded that she was fine and that the incident may have had no connection. Nonetheless, he asked if she had changed her stance on adding more cameras in the interest of public safety. Rather than answer, staff members jumped in, claimed the interview lasted longer than 10 minutes, and that the reporter should think twice next time he decides to ask something off the approved topic. And while sometimes no answer is better than making something up on the spot, these staffers did the mayor zero favors. Because by trying to shield her ignorance and incompetence, they blew it up for everyone to see. And to call the mayor pathetic for refusing to answer the question is an understatement.

How do people like her get elected? She cannot even comment on simple public safety questions and acts like she is doing everyone else a favor. When in reality, she works for the people, and not the other way around.

What a total and utter embarrassment the mayor is.
