Thanks to our lord and savior Donald J. Trump, these stories are less frequent than they were during the People Who Controlled Joe Biden Administration. We still get the occasional advertisement for homeschooling. Like a Colorado teacher who made girls kiss in the classroom as part of "sketches" and graded them on it. And, yes, the teacher IS on the LGBTQ spectrum. However, did you guess?
Jennifer Honka is a now-former teacher from Denver Public Schools. She taught French Language and Culture at Northeast Early College for eight years. So maybe instead of a lesson in tolerance of Ls, Gs, Bs, Ts, and whatever the Qs are, it was just a misguided lesson in French kissing in between lessons in how to make macarons and how to surrender in war.
From CBS News:
Honka's classroom instruction first came into question during the 2023-24 school year.
Ok, so this was during the People Who Controlled Joe Biden Administration.
"The student was very uncomfortable and did not know what to do," the report stated. "She went ahead and kissed another student at (Honka)'s direction. The student then shared a digital meme with (the chemistry teacher) that included a picture of (Honka) and the caption 'she makes girls kiss.' The meme had circulated among the students.
One student interviewed directly in the independent review also testified that Honka always selected girls to act in the skits. Despite a nearly 50/50 split among boys and girls in the class, the student "could not recall Honka choosing a boy actor."
In the teacher's defense, Honka testified that she didn't force kids to suck face in front of her, "and would give them alternatives such as blowing a kiss or 'fist bumps' if they were uncomfortable."
What's sad is that you know what the most surprising thing is? It's not the degeneracy or the psychological abuse. What's most surprising is that a school board in a democrat run city actually fired her for it. She SHOULD be fired and, quite frankly, arrested. Yet it's still surprising that she was actually fired from her job as a public school teacher.
This was the line. It's not ignoring guys (who claim to be girls) exposing themselves in the girls' locker room. It's not assigning comic books about kids having circle jerks at summer camp in the name of tolerance. It's not transitioning students behing their parents back.
None of those are firable offenses. It's not until a teacher makes students make out in front of her that even in Denver public schools is a bridge too far. So, I guess, it's a win that there is a line that's too far to cross after all?
I'll leave that to the parents lawyers and the school districts lawyers to discuss amongst themselves.
