Even if you accept the premise that trans ideology is correct, which it certainly is not, why can't the left make an exception for convicted abusers of women? Because in the pathetic pursuit to affirm any and all identities, a man, currently in prison for being a convicted serial rapist, might be housed in a women's prison and receive medically unnecessary plastic surgery all on the taxpayers' dime, solely because he claims to feel some type of way.

Aaron Michael Pernell is serving a 167-year prison sentence for at least seven sexual assaults. He now claims to be trans and is demanding people affirm his identity with the name “Arya Milan.” He has also filed a civil rights complaint because he wants the state to fund his future “functional female anatomy” before he is transferred to a female prison. The fact that lawyers are willing to take up such a case proves how deranged the system has become.

On December 13, 2009, Pernell, then a Specialist with the 82nd Airborne Division, broke into the home of Maria Durden, a military spouse residing on base at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Pernell, who was intoxicated at the time, then raped Durden in front of her child.

After being detained in January 2010, Pernell told investigators that “Jason”, a voice inside his head, instructed him to attack women. During questioning by Army CID agents, Pernell blamed his internal voice, saying : “I myself would not commit these crimes. The voice in my head makes me do bad things.”

This is how insane this man is, and yet, the left claims it is compassionate to affirm his feelings. The fact that this is not satire is astonishing.

He consented to provide a DNA sample to law enforcement, which matched the biological evidence recovered from the crime scene. That December, Pernell pleaded guilty during a general court-martial at Fort Bragg to rape and burglary.

However, after he was initially sentenced, DNA evidence connected him to a series of unsolved home break-ins and sexual assaults against women in the surrounding communities of Fayetteville and Hoke County, North Carolina, dating back to 2008.

These are not all of the crimes he has been accused of, but they present enough information for you to understand what kind of lunatic we are dealing with. He allegedly has a voice in his head that demands he does evil things, and now wants the state to fund his sex change operations, all after he has been convicted of some of the worst crimes against women. And to sum it all up, he might even be housed in a female prison.

Following this incident, Pernell went on a sexual assault spree, and was convicted of raping and sexually assaulting three women in Cumberland County, and another three women in Hoke County. During court proceedings, family members said that Pernell had returned from a 15-month deployment to Iraq in 2006 as a troubled man.

According to court records, Pernell legally changed his name to Arya Milan in 2020, and notified the Federal Bureau of Prisons in January 2021 while demanding that the judgement and commitment file in his case be updated to reflect his new identity. Pernell also told the FBOP that he had been diagnosed with “gender dysphoria” in 2019 after having attempted self-castration.

To call this man evil and deranged would be an understatement. Nonetheless, if taxpayers end up footing the bill for his sex changes, he might later be housed in a female prison. Because according to the left, you must change your anatomy to affirm your feelings and only then do your feelings become facts. What an utter and total disgrace.
