There is a lot of noticing going on lately. Noticing that the current Democrat and media (but I repeat myself) push about the "dangers" of AI and how we need the government to control it feels awfully familiar. Like they are ginning up a crisis that THEY'RE the solution for, and all Americans have to do is temporarily give up a little bit of freedom and allow the media and the government (but I repeat myself) to control the flow of information.

For our own good, of course.

And right before an election year. Also, of course.

As you ignore the visions of mask mandates and fifteen days to slow the spread dancing in your head and claim this is all paranoia, here is Microsoft working with the demons in the American Federation of Teachers, ceding all AI oversight to the extreme leftist, commie-adjacent activist group.

This is where it would be nice to have a president who didn't call anything he doesn't feel like talking about a "hoax." Though I'm sure the ballroom will be lovely.

The technology giant announced last week that it partnered with the American Federation of Teachers, one of the country’s largest unions, on a legally enforceable agreement overseeing safety and privacy standards for using Microsoft AI in the classroom. The agreement, championed by leftist Randi Weingarten, includes an “equity” and “inclusion” provision that products “must be accessible and fair.”

Where have we seen this movie before?

Oh, that's right. Union mob boss Randi Weingarten writing the CDC guidelines on students wearing masks. The same Weingarten who knew that masks impeded learning, but pushed for them anyway because f*ck them kids.

"F*ck them kids" was also the science behind remote learning during the pandemic, which was also detrimental to students and was also pushed by the teachers' union regrdless.

Now, when the left and the media (but I repeat myself) need another crisis in order to win an election, there is Randi Weingarten getting her cut at the expense of our children.

Are there serious concerns and discussions that need to be had concerning AI? Yes, of course.

Once Sam Altman hired Chuck Schumer's daughter and Microsoft sold out to the Marxist teachers' union, these are MORE serious issues we need to deal with before we get to the broader problems.
