New climate activist demands: $1 billion in taxpayer money to fund jobs for them and their friends

Several climate activists are demanding that the Canadian government implement a so-called “Youth Climate Corps” jobs program, including $1 billion in funding, with a two-year contract for employees. Yes, they are entitled.
3 young “climate activists” who went to school and can’t find work in the “environmental field” want the Federal Government to give them a job with a new billion dollar program they’ve come up with. Our Government has created a generation of psychologically abused people who think a tornado and a rain storm in Ottawa are a result of big oil.

It is unclear how these people believe they will fix this little thing called “weather,” so, just like them, use your immigration. Nonetheless, the fact that they majored in a useless degree should be nothing more than a personal problem. However, they are so entitled that they feel it is justified that the Canadian taxpayer pays them a salary for a useless fake job, all because they made a poor investment for their future. I am having trouble seeing how this is a problem for the government.
Additionally, for a crisis that supposedly continues to “grow,” it sure does not seem to be growing. Why do you think that is? The amount of arrogance it takes to believe they have the power to save the world from the apocalypse is only possible among the most naive and radical leftists. Astonishing, to say the least.

Again, did you think it was possible to be this arrogant? I am sure Canada could use those funds for a lot of things, but paying young activists to pretend to work does no one any favors. The fact that this is news is part of the problem, as no one should take these pathetic demands seriously.
