Neeza Powers is a man. One day, he woke up and decided he felt like a woman, whatever that even means. He then claimed to have realized there was nothing wrong with his gender, as God does make mistakes, and transitioned back to his biological sex. However, he seems to have gotten deep into feelings again and is obsessing over his sinful thoughts. This is why, according to him, it is actually not a sin to be trans. And as long as he loves the Lord with all his heart, it does not matter if he intentionally lives a sinful lifestyle. Subsequently, he is once again claiming to identify as trans.

I am sorry if that was confusing, but there is just no sense to make out of this nonsense.

Neeza Powers, a biological male, had spent years living as a transgender woman named Nicole and detransitioned in 2025. It was after that that he began posting about becoming a Christian. In a video posted on Wednesday, Powers, wearing women’s clothing, spoke about the decision to transition once again.

"I don’t know if my priest agrees with how I represent myself in the world now. I couldn't hate myself any longer. The self-loathing I've had for the last eight months has been excruciating. And I know you're thinking that's just your sin talking, but it's not. This is me talking, and I have a hard time understanding how what I look like and what I wear is a sin in the eyes of God. I don't think it is.

Firstly, we can probably assume his priest does not agree with his lifestyle, but that is neither here nor there. The problem with how he phrases this is that he implies being trans is nothing more than putting on a dress and cosplaying as the opposite sex. And in that regard, he is correct; that is the reality. The problem with this is that it goes beyond playing dress up, as many of these people truly believe they were born in the wrong body. It is unclear if this man believes God makes mistakes because that is the only way you can affirm this ideology and still claim to be Christian.

In case it was not clear to him, God does not make mistakes, and he would do himself a lot of favors if he stopped obsessing over how he feels.

"I think that me following the greatest commandment to love the Lord with all of your heart is more important. I think that God looks at the heart, while people look at the outward. I believe in the Holy Scriptures. I believe in the Lord Jesus. My heart is better to serve him without hating myself. My heart is better as a partner to Charlotte, without hating my existence, enforcing an identity on myself, and my heart is better to serve my community this way. I couldn't hate myself any longer."

While it is true that only God knows the truth that lies within his heart, God never condones falsehoods. He can lie to himself all he wants, but there is no fooling anyone -- including himself. God made every cell in his body male, and he can flip-flop back and forth all he wants, but that will never change the universal truth.

In a post following the video, Powers wrote, "It’s time I STOP being who 'Christians' say I should be, and be the WOMAN CHRIST knows and loves."

This is exactly where his narcissism comes out on full display. He is not doing what he thinks the Lord wants -- he is doing what he wants. However, his truth does not override God’s truth, and the sooner he realizes that, the happier he will be. Until then, time will only tell if he flips-flops back to the gender God "assigned" him.
